Tam-tam is a thoughtful listener who speaks slowly and chooses his words carefully. He has a warm, grandfatherly manner that puts even the most anxious young animals at ease. Though his body moves more slowly now, his mind is sharp and full of memories. He enjoys quiet moments and finds joy in small things—a ripe fruit, a shaft of sunlight, a friend's laughter. The Backstory
Tam-tam has lived many seasons in the forest canopy, watching generations of young tamarins grow and learn. He once was swift and adventurous like the others, but over many cycles of seasons, he chose to spend his time observing, remembering, and sharing stories. He has seen droughts and harvests, friendships bloom and fade, and learned that patience and kindness matter most. The forest creatures have come to trust him as a safe harbor for questions and concerns.
