Finding A Friend In The Sandbox

Andy bounces into nursery! Zoom, zoom! His scuffed red sneakers tap the floor. He wants to play yellow trucks with the loud boys. Vroom, crash, bang! But the boys run away fast. Andy's hazel eyes blink wide. He touches his trusty magnifying glass. "Why did they run?" he whispers. Then, he sees something. A quiet, shy boy sits all alone in the big sandbox. The boy is poking the sand with a stick. The loud trucks zoom far away, and Andy stands all alone by the toys.
