Petro Travels To The Robot Kingdom

Petro marched through his grandmother's garden. His oversized orange and yellow scarf trailed behind him, snagging on the rose bushes. He adjusted the loose strap of his blue denim overalls and scanned the bushes for lost frogs. Suddenly, the air hummed. A shiny silver portal tore open the sky! Whoosh! The portal sucked Petro inside. He tumbled through a swirling tunnel of light and crashed onto a hard stone floor. His messy dark brown hair stood up in wild spikes. Clang! Bang! Whirrr! Petro blinked his warm brown eyes. He sat in a massive, glowing cave. Giant metal robots with square heads hammered away at a spinning, ticking machine. "Gears turning! Time bending!" beeped a rusty robot, twisting a massive wrench. The machine roared, shaking the cave walls. Petro was trapped in the Robot Kingdom!
