Pumpkin Stays With Worried Rosie All Night

Pumpkin was napping by the warm fireplace. His fluffy orange tail curled around him. His amber eyes blinked slow and sleepy.

BOOM! Thunder crashed outside.

Rosie the golden retriever jumped up. Her brown eyes grew wide. She whimpered and paced around the room.

"Woof, woof!" Rosie barked at the windows. Rain pattered hard against the glass.

Pumpkin lifted his round head. He watched Rosie walk back and forth, back and forth.

Another BOOM! Rosie's whole body shook. She couldn't stop moving. She couldn't rest.
