Anna Finds a Lost Easter Bunny
The Discovery Behind the Shed

Easter morning arrived with golden sunshine streaming through Anna's bedroom window. She bounced downstairs in her cozy green sweater, her ponytail swishing behind her. The kitchen smelled like Mom's cinnamon rolls, and pastel decorations hung everywhere—just like every Easter since she could remember.
"Time for the egg hunt!" Dad called from the backyard.
Anna grabbed her pink and purple backpack—perfect for collecting eggs—and rushed outside. The grass sparkled with dew. Plastic eggs in every color dotted the garden like jewels. She spotted three right away near the roses, then two more by the fence.
Then she heard it. A soft whimper from behind the garden shed.
Anna crept around the corner and gasped. A white bunny with floppy ears huddled against the wooden wall, trembling. Its left front paw was tucked up awkwardly, and when it tried to hop away, it stumbled and fell.
"Oh no," Anna whispered, her bright blue eyes widening. The bunny's nose twitched nervously.
She reached out slowly, but the bunny pressed itself harder against the shed, terrified. Anna's heart squeezed. This wasn't just any Easter morning anymore.
