Ella's Christmas Star Navigation Quest
Chapter 1: The Missing Map

Ella stood in the Archive Chamber, her round black eyes wide as she surveyed the glittering crystalline walls draped with evergreen garlands and twinkling lights. The ancient star map's pedestal stood empty, its velvet cushion disturbed.
"Three days until Christmas Eve," she whispered, her paws trembling as she traced the pedestal's edge. The Warren's navigation ritual required the ceremonial map to guide their traditional stargazing celebration—a ceremony connecting every bunny family across the underground network.
Her pristine white fur caught the reflected glow of the crystals as she hopped closer, examining scattered golden dust on the floor. She bent low, her gold chain swaying, and spotted something peculiar: a tiny fragment of parchment tucked beneath the pedestal, marked with strange symbols and what looked like... counting marks?
"Fragment one of twenty-four," Ella read aloud, her voice echoing through the chamber. "Follow the Advent of Stars."
She clutched the fragment, her heart emblem pressing against her chest as her mind raced. Twenty-four pieces? That would take forever to find! The community depended on this ritual—generations of bunnies gathering together, sharing stories beneath the mapped constellations.
A rustling sound from the deeper archives made her ears swivel. She tucked the fragment carefully into her rainbow ribbon and hopped toward the noise, but found only an old journal, its pages open to sketches of the star map. A pair of spectacles rested beside it, still warm.
Ella's paws clenched as she stared at the empty pedestal again, the chamber suddenly colder despite the festive decorations.
