Three Brave Bunnies Hunt For Treasure
The Easter Morning Panic
The spring morning air smelled of crushed daffodils and sweet earth. Grace stood at the edge of the village green, smoothing the wrinkles from her soft lavender tunic. Today was the Great Easter Hunt. She adjusted her simple golden headband, her hazel eyes scanning the dew-kissed meadow where brightly painted eggs were hidden among the roots. She remembered her grandmother’s words: A true adventurer always keeps their eyes open. Suddenly, a frantic rustling erupted from the lilac bushes. Three small rabbits tumbled out, their noses twitching wildly. "Disaster!" squeaked the skinniest rabbit, Pip, his ears trembling. "The grand chocolate stash! It's trapped!" A plumper rabbit, Hop, thumped his foot loudly. "We hid the giant chocolate egg in the hollow oak, but old Buster is guarding the gate! He's barking like a thundercloud!" Binky, the smallest bunny, simply chewed a dandelion, looking terrified. Grace knew Buster, the miller’s massive hound. His booming bark terrified everyone. Grace knelt, her crimson cape pooling around her sturdy leather boots. She smiled warmly at the trembling creatures. "Show me the way," she said softly.
