[NARRATOR] Star the troll was building a treehouse when she wandered too far into the deep forest and couldn't find her way back home.

[HERO] Hello? Does anyone know which way leads home? I've been walking in circles for ages.

[SIDEKICK] Star! Is that you? I'm Pip the squirrel. You look a little lost, friend.

[HERO] I am lost! I came out here to find the perfect wood for my treehouse project, but now I can't remember which path I took.

[SIDEKICK] Oh no! The forest is tricky when you don't know it. But I have an idea. What if we mark the trees as we go?

[HERO] Mark the trees? But how? I don't have paint or anything.

[SIDEKICK] You have your construction supplies in your backpack, don't you?

[HERO] Of course I do! I have ribbon and chalk and stickers. We can make a trail using my rainbow ribbon tied to branches!

[SIDEKICK] Perfect! Let's start marking our path right now.

[NARRATOR] As Star and Pip tied colorful ribbons to trees and drew chalk marks on the bark, Star realized the forest was actually quite beautiful.

[HERO] Look, Pip! The ribbons make the forest look like a party. And I found this amazing piece of twisted wood. It would be perfect for my treehouse.

[SIDEKICK] And our ribbon trail is leading us somewhere wonderful.

[HERO] Wait, I can see my cottage through those trees! We did it! Thank you for helping me, Pip. You're a wonderful friend.

[SIDEKICK] You solved the problem by building a path, just like you build everything else.

[NARRATOR] Star learned that day that sometimes being lost helps you find something even better than what you were looking for.
